The McDonald’s Wisconsin Valley Co-op began in the early 1970s with the founding of restaurants in Wisconsin Rapids and Wausau. From there the organization has grown to include 27 locations with 9 owner operators covering Central and Northern Wisconsin.

From the beginning, the Wisconsin Valley Co-op has shown a commitment to community education and health with support for scholarships, equal opportunity employment, the Ronald McDonald house in Marshfield and youth programs for self -esteem taught in the schools by Ronald McDonald.
